This study explored the development direction of digital literacy materials for university students. For this purpose, this study investigated the concept of digital literacy and explored previous research related to digital literacy. In addition, the contents of digital literacy education and the contents of existing textbooks related to university students were examined. Through this study, we proposed the development direction of the digital literacy textbook of university. First, it is necessary to develop a digital literacy textbook considering the characteristics of digital media, content characteristics, characteristics of college students, and utilization situation. Second, it is necessary to develop a textbook based on actual cases composed mainly of authentic tasks that induce students' voluntary interest, interest, and goal consciousness. Third, it is necessary to develop a textbook that develops and provides unstructured case examples that enable self - directed learning and reasoning of college students. Fourth, considering the major of college students, it is necessary to develop a textbook that can be customized to be carried out in relation to contents related to digital literacy in each major subject. Fifth, it is necessary to develop textbooks from a constructivist point of view so that meaningful knowledge related to digital literacy can be structured from inside of college students and effectively implemented in real situations. Sixth, it is necessary to develop a textbook that explores the application strategies of effective teaching-learning methods for each subject and finds ways to improve practical problem-solving abilities from various academic perspectives.
